100 Mar(x)k is what you're looking for: a complementary currency and a platform for sharing goods and services within a community of one hundred people.
100 Mar(x)k is an art project. Participation is entirely free and voluntary, and your data will not be shared or used for any other purpose.

100 Mar(x)k is an alternative payment system that gives you access to the goods and services available on this platform, within a community limited to one hundred participants.
Membership is open to anyone, until all banknotes have been claimed. You can offer one hundred minutes of your time, or lend for one hundred minutes an object you would like to share with the community in Chemnitz. The project is open to cultural workers, private citizens, entrepreneurs, employees and anyone who wishes to take part: there are no restrictions of origin, gender or belief.
Taking part is easy and free. Simply select one of the banknotes below and describe in a few lines what you are offering in exchange for your 100 Mar(x)k. You will receive your 100 Mar(x)k banknote, which you can spend on any of the hundred offers made available by the other participants.
Please note: once you have received your first banknote, the only way to receive another is if someone requests your good or service, and pays in the same way. Therefore, it is worth proposing something from the start that the community will genuinely find useful, so that the credit comes back to you.
The banknotes are numbered, and their circulation is tracked on this page. Your data stays safe and is not passed on to third parties. The project has a single purpose: to test an alternative payment instrument capable of connecting the community in Chemnitz.
